Encompassing 3,730 acres, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park boasts swaths of fine, salmon-colored sand surrounded by red sandstone bluffs and pinion and juniper forests. The most popular activity for park visitors is riding off-highway vehicles, from ATVs to Jeeps, on approximately 1,200 acres of the dunes and on many miles of nearby trails. Visitors can also play in the sand and hike on the park’s nature trail, boardwalk and overlook trails. Wildlife such as jackrabbits, mule deer, coyotes, kit foxes, numerous small rodents, and the Coral Pink Beetle (found nowhere else on earth) make their home at Coral Pink Sand Dunes.

The park offers guests five picnic sites and a 22-unit campground with modern restrooms, hot showers and an RV dump station. Located approximately 20 highway miles west of Kanab near the Utah-Arizona border, the park is central to many other natural and historical attractions, including Zion National Park, Pipe Springs National Monument, the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, and Bryce Canyon National Park.
